Eyebrows for Food Challenge
What would you do to feed 1,000 starving children for a year?
These SJSP 2021 Instructors are willing to shave their eyebrows!
By unanimous decision, voting will now end Thurs., July 29th at 8:30am
Vote with your dollars! All money will go to Mary's Meals to feed 1,000 children at a primary school in Malawi for an entire year. Our goal is to finish what we started last year, raising more than $50,000 through our Eyebrow Challenge. We'll trade our eyebrows for food to feed these children! Our eyebrows... your money... their food! To vote, just click on one of the links below, which will take you to our Mary's Meals donation page. In the "public message" box, note the staff member's name and whether you want your donation to go toward shaving or saving his/her eyebrows! Eyebrow status can be viewed below. Red means danger! Green means safe! "Save" money will be added to the balance and "Shave" money will be deducted from the balance. Voting ends Thursday morning, July 29th, at 8:30am. Instructors with a positive (green) balance will keep their eyebrows. Instructors with a negative (red) balance will lose their eyebrows that morning on the morning show! Rules
- Donations made that cannot be tied to a staff member will be considered "Shave" votes and deducted from the highest positive (green) total (split in the event of a tie).
- If a contestant ends at $.00, "To Shave or Save" will be determined by a coin flip (best of three).
- If any contestant breaks $1,000 To Save (green), they win permanent immunity and cannot be shaved. Their account will be frozen and donations made after breaking $1,000 will be allocated in the same way as unassigned donations (to the highest positive (green) total as a Shave donation).
